About the lecture
Mars, the red planet, has fascinated humanity since the earliest times.
In this talk we will try to put ourselves in the shoes of a hypothetical future traveller to Mars to discover the conditions they would face on the planet's surface.
We will also review the history of the space exploration of Mars and discuss some of the open questions about our neighbouring planet.
